Questions I get weekly
Do you accept review units you keep?
No. Everything goes back or goes to a repair charity, and the choice is logged on the review.
Can I see the score before it publishes?
Never. You will get the factual-accuracy pass, which is a different thing.
Why forty-two days?
It is the earliest point at which battery fade and thermal paste settling both show up reliably.
Do you ever revise a score?
Nine times so far. Every revision keeps the original number visible beside the new one.
How is this funded?
Reader subscriptions only — the same policy printed in the bench’s own spec table.
