The decisions that matter most are the ones you make alone.

I’m Rowan Ashcombe. I work 1:1 with CEOs, MDs and senior executives who are performing well by every visible measure and still know something is off in how they’re deciding, delegating, or leading under pressure.

Six months in, most clients say the same thing: they didn’t know how much they were guessing until they stopped.

What I see most often

Most executives aren’t short on ability. They’re short on someone willing to tell them what they’re avoiding.

About Rowan

I spent a decade watching capable leaders undo their own good decisions.

Before coaching, I was chief of staff and interim COO for three different scale-ups, in the rooms where the hardest calls get made. I watched capable people decide well in calm weather and badly under pressure. This practice was built to interrupt that pattern, one leader at a time.

The work

Three ways I work with senior leaders.

Every engagement is built around your actual decisions, not a generic leadership curriculum.

Executive Coaching

Fortnightly 1:1 sessions focused on the real decisions in front of you right now, not hypothetical scenarios.

Decision Review

A structured look at a specific high-stakes call before you make it, so blind spots surface before the outcome does.

I’d been CEO for four years before I worked with Rowan. In three months he found patterns in how I make decisions that nobody, including me, had ever named out loud.
