About Nathaniel

I've done freelance finance the hard way, so you don't have to.

Former finance professional, now full-time freelancer and coach — I build the tax, savings, and income systems that actually hold up when your paycheck doesn’t.

I spent seven years in corporate finance before I left, at 29, to freelance full-time. I thought I understood money — I’d built models for a living. I was wrong about my own.

The first two years were rough. I underpaid my quarterly taxes twice. I kept a single checking account for everything, business and personal, and had no idea how much I actually made in a given month until January. I built spreadsheets, broke them, and built better ones.

Eventually the systems stuck — and other freelancers started asking how I did it. What started as advice to friends became a coaching practice. Ten years and 500+ clients later, I still build the same three things for everyone: a tax calendar, a savings system, and a way to see income clearly when it swings by 3x some months.

How I Work

Systems, not willpower

Discipline runs out. A system that fits your income doesn’t.

No jargon

If I can’t explain it in plain English, I don’t use it with clients.

Built by someone who's lived it

Every tool I teach, I use myself.

Freelancer-first

Not a generic budgeting template — sized for irregular income.
